ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These terms and conditions (“Terms”) are the Terms on which ‘We’ either sell or purchase the ‘Product’ to/from you. You should keep a copy of these Terms for future reference.

By visiting our site and/or purchasing from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/ or contributors of content.

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before purchasing or selling from Platinum London (“Platinum London”, “We”, “Our”, “Us”).

These Terms may be changed from time to time where it is necessary for Us to do so for legal or regulatory reasons. The Terms applicable to any Order from the Site are those that you agree to when placing your Order.

It is your responsibility to check the page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes forms acceptance of those changes.

 

ORDER PROCESS & ORDER CONFIRMATIONS

Your Order constitutes an offer to Us to buy the Product. All Orders are subject to availability and to acceptance by Us. We will send you an email acknowledging receipt of your Order, please note that this does not constitute acceptance by Us. The contract for purchase of the Product is formed when we send you an email confirming your Order.

If a Product you wish to purchase is no longer available we will inform you by telephone or via email as soon as possible, you will not be charged for the Product and will be given an option to request the Product once it becomes available in stock again.

You may place an Order using our Click & Collect service. This will enable you to pay via online for the Product(s) and collect later at our Platinum London, Mayfair Boutique. Release of the Product will only be completed once Identification has been verified along with the payment.

Concierge delivery is available with a valid delivery address within London Monday to Friday 11am – 4pm (excluding weekends and bank holidays)

 

PASSWORDS & SECURITYS

When you place and Order on the site, you will have an option to purchase/check out as a client or guest. Setting up an account as a client is a simple process and you need to complete your details in the My Account section of the Site.

It is your responsibility to maintain the confidentiality of your client account username and password and all activities that are carried out under them.

We are unable to check identities of visitors to the Site and will not be held responsible for losses suffered by you whereby your username/password have been used by someone else unless is this due to our negligence.

You agree to notify us immediately if you become aware or suspect your details have been comprised via email or by telephoning the boutique.

 

USAGE OF THE SITE

You confirm to us;

All information and details provided by you, to Us (as guest or client) are true, accurate and up to date in all respect and at all times. You can amend / update your personal details at any time by contacting us at support@platinum.london

You are over 16

You hold a valid credit/debit card and or have a PayPal account

You will not use the site for any unlawful purpose

You will not access or attempt to access the account of other users or attack or attempt to attack the Sites security measures.

You will only use the Site or Product you purchase for personal use.

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict or terminate your access to the Site at any time without notice if We have reasonable grounds to believe that you have breached any of the above Restrictions. This will not limit Our right to take any other action against you that We consider appropriate to defend Our rights or those to any other person.

Third-party links on this site may direct you to third-party websites that are not affiliated with Us.

We are not responsible for examining or evaluating the content or accuracy and we do not warrant and will not have any liability or responsibility for any third-party materials or websites, or for any other materials, products, or services of third-parties.

We are not liable for any harm or damages related to the purchase or use of goods, services, resources, content, or any other transactions made in connection with any third-party websites.

Please review carefully the third-party’s policies and practices and make sure you understand them before you engage in any transaction. Complaints, claims, concerns, or questions regarding third-party products should be directed to the third-party.

 

PRICING & PAYMENT

All products are stated in GBP and are inclusive of UK Value Added Tax.

The price of the Product is the price stated on the Site at the time you place your order, except in the case of obvious error. We try to ensure that all prices on Our Site are accurate, but errors do or may occur. If We discover an error in the pricing of a Product you have ordered, then We will in accordance to the above contact you before the formation of a contract of purchase. Once rectified we will give you the option to reconfirm your Order at the correct price or cancel the purchase altogether.

We accept all major credit and debit cards including online payment platforms such as PayPal.

Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.

We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Product/Service.

We are not responsible for your card issuer or bank charging you as a result of Our processing of your credit/debit card payment in accordance with your Order.

All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your card refuses to authorise payment We will not accept your Order and We will not be

 

DELIVERY AND OWNERSHIP

We shall endeavour to do Our best to dispatch the Product to you as soon as possible after you place your order in accordance with the delivery option you have selected. If We are unable to dispatch your Product within an agreed timeframe, you will be contacted by Our delivery partner via SMS or email to schedule a new delivery time.

You will be informed by SMS/email when the Product is out for delivery by Our delivery partner. In the event that you are not available at the time of delivery, you will be notified by our delivery partner via SMS/email which will allow you to reschedule a new delivery slot.

As soon as the Product is delivered to you (or a person identified by you to take delivery on your behalf) you are fully responsible for it.

We want you to be happy with your new purchase. If the Product is not as you expected or are unhappy, please contact the Boutique via email or telephone as soon as possible.

 

REFUNDS, RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

If you wish to cancel or change your Order prior to the product being dispatched, you must immediately contact the boutique via telephone, with your Order number, to discuss what practical options are available to you.

Once the item has been dispatched and has been received, we hope that you will be delighted with your Order.

However if you wish to return the Product(s), you have the right to return your Order for a full refund within 14 days subject to the following;

  • You have taken reasonable care of the Product, this means you should have not used the Product and/or removed any tags, labels or protective packaging should not have been removed.
  • You return the Product to Us without any undue delay and in any event within the 14 days as specified by your decision to cancel.
  • You return the Product in suitable packaging to ensure it reaches Us in the same condition as when it was dispatched, we recommend you use the original packaging you received the Product in
  • All paperwork and receipts must be returned alongside the item

Once the Product(s) has been received and inspected within the boutique, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit/debit card or original method of payment, within 14 days.

To the maximum extent permissible by applicable law and in accordance with applicable laws governing the purchase and sale of special goods made to order, withdrawals, cancellations, exchanges or returns are not accepted for orders of customised products such as, for example but not limited to, those with the Clients initials engraved on the Product.

 

GENERAL CONDITIONS

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

If using our website, you understand that your content (not including credit card information), may be transferred unencrypted and involve (a) transmissions over various networks; and (b) changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices. Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks.

You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service or any contact on the website through which the service is provided, without express written permission by us.

The headings used in this agreement are included for convenience only and will not limit or otherwise affect these Terms.

 

USER COMMENTS, FEEDBACK AND OTHER SUBMISSIONS

If, at our request, you send certain specific submissions (for example contest entries) or without a request from us you send creative ideas, suggestions, proposals, plans, or other materials, whether online, by email, by postal mail, or otherwise (collectively, ‘comments’), you agree that we may, at any time, without restriction, edit, copy, publish, distribute, translate and otherwise use in any medium any comments that you forward to us. We are and shall be under no obligation (1) to maintain any comments in confidence; (2) to pay compensation for any comments; or (3) to respond to any comments.

You further agree that your comments will not contain libellous or otherwise unlawful, abusive or obscene material, or contain any computer virus or other malware that could in any way affect the operation of the Service or any related website. Occasionally there may be information on our site or in the Service that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, product shipping charges, transit times and availability. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to our website or the Service following the posting of any changes to these Terms of Service constitutes acceptance of those changes.

 

OWNERSHIP OF ITEMS SUBMITTED

You confirm and guarantee that you are the legal owner of the item(s) or have been entrusted with the responsibility to sell/consign any item(s) by the legal owner. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Platinum London for any damages arising from any and all claims, demands, losses, causes of action, damage, lawsuits, judgments, including legal fees and costs, to the extent caused by or arising out of or relating to any unlawful ownership.

Upon dropping items in to our store or submitting an item for sale through our online platform, you agree to the above terms and conditions.

 

CONSIGNMENT SALE PROCEEDS

For all customers who are consigning items with Platinum London, you will be paid after 14 days from the date at which the buyer of your item(s) receives the item. Should that buyer choose to return the item, the transfer of funds will be cancelled and the consignment period will re-continue, subject to the return of the goods complying with all of our terms & conditions.
